my compressor came out of an MVP pump from Advance Auto. I've had it in for the last year with no problems. what fitting are you using on your air bottle? I found that it was easier to valve stem fittings and leave the fitting on the end of the compressor hose as opposed to cutting it and using push in fitting.

I put a barbed fitting in the tank and cut the end off the compressor... I figured that fitting would leak, but now its backfiring... Still undecided on to get a mps orpingel..

But if the pingel would fit under the seat where the tools were, it would be worth the extra money instead of having it under the tank in the battery box.. Sucks having it there, bc if you have to do anything to it you have to take half the bike apart. Gonna make a similar type cardboard "box" the size of the pingel and see if it will fit under the stock seat...

That's what the first page is about... I'm not putting another $250 or $300 for a rewgulator, bottle, etc.. I just want to know about the compressors.

I had a friend of mine that the hose keep busting so what he did was cut the rubber hose and put a barbed fitting on it with a good hose clamp and then he put small tie wrap all the way down to the compressor head so the rubber hose wouldn't swell up and bust and it is like that for 2 years now and no problem. Some of the older compreesors there was a fitting type end now they are mostly all pressed fitting. Unless you go to mps it has the proper fitting coming out, but they are also 50.00 dollars.

So I don't guess I'm gonna get a straight answer to which compressor. Thanks for all the other info!
