speed cell is in the works of a battery that does 24 volt for startup .talk to lyle eldubois@telus.net . he is the one that told me about it. the batteries they make are really small so fitting would not be a problem

I havent gotten a chance to get it to the dyno yet.... We had a big bike rally in Tulsa the other weekend so i ended up going to that. That was a true test of heat for my bike. I think the heat index was like 105 later on in the day. It only got hot once when we got stopped at multiple lights for an extended period of time once i we stopped it boiled over for a second and then stopped. I have a few things that i still have to do before i head for the dyno. I have bought a different battery the OEM one is 200 cca and so i bought one that was a bit bigger. I have to build or modify my battery box to fit this new one and still havent gotten my lock-up clutch yet. It does need one bad though because if i roll on it it begins to slip the clutch hard. so im forced to take it easy for a bit until i get the lock-up installed. I switched to the shorty filters and they work great. Sorry long time and no #s for you guys yet. Im tryin

Sounds like you'r in the Tulsa area...OKC here.

I took my 14 to K&N in Tulsa and they did a great job, there's another place up there that's realy good too, I just can't remember the name right now. Everybody in the OKC area goes up there to get their bikes tuned.

Did you take a real good look at the pick up for cracks? Its not hard to miss a crack at the seam or just above it. When you bust the pan it can push against the plastic pick up . If its a progressive click and you seem sure it started after the pan indecent'' then i would stop riding it until you diag the cause! If you decide to drop the pan again 'when you go back put the other oil in it you were using before' this will eliminate a few things at once. I would recommend 15-40 Mobil but i don't want to start another oil thread by no means, but i no this oil wont cause any noise problems.......Bill

It will hit the dyno right after the new year. I have to do a final service and install the lockup. We had a big toy run this past weekend so im around 1100 miles now and still good. I wanted to get some good miles on my motor before i loaded it up on the dyno. I cant wait to see how the results compair to smokins 1530. Smokin did you do rods and the whole 9 yards how about cams and or any port work. If you could let me know whats inside that 1530.
