Just a couple of questions on oil
I've used search function but still have a couple of questions.
I'm thinking of going with shell rotella t synthetic oil 5w40. I live in Texas and was wondering if the oil would hold up in the extreme heat we have in the summer? If you live in a similar environment what oil have you been using?

there is no reason to think it wont hold up. Here is the tech data sheet

I live in south ga and I believe it gets just as hot here, especially at the track. I believe it would work great.

Thanks. I don't race my bike so if it works for that it should be plenty for me.

I try and not hot lap it, but it stillgets done. Even if I don't when it's 100 deg the bike never really cools off. I think you will like it. I'm gotta change the oil in mine tomorrow.

I live down in Beaumont and use it all year.
