R u guys using a 2 or 2.5lb bottle in your swingarm mount?
I just purchased a 2.5lb bottle last week, which I was going to put in the tail section. But now I have just ordered a swingarm that is coming with a bottle bracket and I would rather run the bottle down there. I was just wondering if you guys were using a 2 or 2.5lb bottle. They are the same diameter, but the 2.5lber is an inch longer I think. And do you guys have any pics of your bottle in the swingarm?

I run a 2.5 on my bike. The 2.5 is best if you run it inverted, and point the valve toward the ground, you get better clearance that way. When you get your bottle(s) take the valve assembly off and remove the brass tube, put the valve back on and you are ready to fill. One of the problems you run into is the position of the fuel pump on the 14, if you compress your suspension too much the bottle and the pump shall meet.

So I guess the 2lber would be the better choice? And what arm are you using? I would think that each company places their bottle brackets in a somewhat different position?
thanks for the reply

I run a Mac arm, I have all 2.5's it is not a huge deal to invert the bottle but it is up to you. Since you can get bottles overnight with Jegs or Summit you may mount your arm and see what you have for clearance and go from there.
