factory pro shift kit!

I am wondering if any one has installed a shift kit in the zx14 and if its worth the money and time.

IM going to run one on my 06 test mule, but it wont be until march when the weather gets wright up here in the mid atlantic. I guess this didnt help much,but i will post an honest opinion when tested.............Bill

I installed one on JesseJames zx14 and it seems to work good ... It gives it a more soild feel to the shift ...

Well you have to pull the clutch basket and that part is easy ...BUT putting the basket back in is a problem ...The basket has a spring loaded ring gear and you need the factory tool to align the basket ring gears .. I has able to do it without the factory tool but i had to have an extra set of hands to do the job ..

I have been told the factory pro shift star kit in addition to Brocks shift shafts really makes it much more positive engaugement.

I am tearing my engine down in next few days to build up for turbo.
Will be installing it along with rods, pistons, FBG back cut trans, 2 stage lockup, and the list goes on.

Nox had some bad luck with one, but still uses the spring from the kit on his 12 i think

I would hate to pay 170.00 for a freaking spring! I just might hang loose for a while till I get more feedback on the kit.
