sliders

My zx 14 is my first sport bike. What sliders are available to protect the bike is it goes down?
I do know about the ones that stick out of the side fairings. What else is recommended? Axles? Bars? Thanks!

I've only got the ones that stick out past the fairings and they saved my bike when it fell over in my garage after lowering it. lol They were on there when I bought it so i'm not sure what brand they are. I know that they look like frankenstien bolts though.

RE: Sliders

Shogun makes some that are reasonably priced. I have the sliders the swingarm spools and I have front axle sliders on order. (New item for Shogun)
Two Brothers Racing makes some fancy black anodized aluminum with ZX-14 engraved end caps.
You can find sliders in aluminum, Delrin and UHMW polyethylene.

A very worthwhile investment considering the cost of body parts.

i just installed sliders on mine that the slider bolts to a bracket that mounts to the bike. i like them, but i could see the bike being laid down at a little bit of speed and it breaking two mounting points off each side instead of one. dont remeber the name but search on ebay
