Clutch spring spacers?
Hey im looking for every little advantage here. And I remember reading that brock added spring spacers to their bike and it actually pickup up some mph from possibly some minor clutch slippage. And since Im over 200lbs and have over 50 passes on the bike so far Im thinking that a little more spring pressure might not be a bad thing. I have read that a lot of you guys on here didnt care too much for the heavier springs and actually went back to the stockers. So I was thinking of just doing a set of brocks spacers. And they sell 2 different heights .180 and .280. I was thinking of going with the .180 spacers but they suggest going with springs and or the larger spacers. I have had a lot of luck with the stock clutch so I was thinking of just doing the shorter ones.
So for you larger drag racers what have you had luck with?
And thanks in advance for helping with all my questions. I have gotten a lot of help from you guys over the past month and really appreciate it

I am 220 suited and use both Brock's spring and spacers (.180). There was a noticeable
difference in lever pull, but I prefer a heavy pull because it is easier for me to control. I have
run 150 mph in the 1/4 on MR-11 and Maxton map w/ stock gearing.

I am 260lbs suited and have the the brocks spacer's and noticed the clutched grabed faster and my 60's picked up a little, but they say its better for the heavier guy. So far i have been 6.21 in an 1/8th with the mods below, but for the money, the spacers were def worth every penny.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I will be going with the .180 spacers.
