Looking for information on where to build my engine..

I have a zx14 06 with about 10,000 miles what I'm looking to do is have the engine sent off to be rebuilt with more horsepower looking approximately 205 hp or more... What would you guys recommend and how much would the cost be?
Which company would you guys recommend my mechanic to send the engine to and what is the turnaround time?

Looking around 205 hp cause the bike is too heavy and at least needs 205 hp I feel...

My mechanic got a price around $8,000 just to have the engine rebuilt and that is not his charge for removing and installing the engine but then I'm looking around 240 plus Horsepower...........

I'm hoping to come across somebody that already rebuilt their engine and get some insight..

I believe my mechanic wanted to go with the company carpenter..

Why don't you contact Sal at Ace Performance? He can take care of your needs.

You can pm THE ICE MAN, or go to http://aceperformanceracing.com.

My suggestion is to forget about the hp number, and figure out how fast you want to go.

Shane

I dont think there is any 14 making 240whp all motor, except the muzzy pro stock, or something extreme like that.

Someone has posted on another board that has a carpenter stroker motor, and the most they could get out of it was 224whp. BUT it runs the numbers.

good luck with your build

I'm sure Bob can build you a dyno queen if that what you wanted.
Which would you rather have big dyno number of fast times?
