Pics of 14's at 60 to 62" please
Hey guys if you have a pics of your bikes at 60-62" please post them up. And if you cant post them send um to shtnonu@cs.com and I will post them for you. And if your over 200lbs suited what did you do to your rear shock to keep if from bottoming out? And burning a hole through the undertail? Right now at stock wb and the lowest hole on 3 hole links I have rubbed the stock undertail twice now on launch. And what kind of time did you pick up with the extra wheelbase.
thanks

I was 67" and used a 14.3kg spring. Worked like a champ. If you do a search for the race-tech site, there is a spring calculator that you can plug numbers into. Keep in mind that I'm 280 suited.

thanks for the reply. Still looking for some pics. Just wondering how noticable an extra 2-4 inches looks. And is 62" about the max wb you can go and still hook up on the street?

I know Halvefast's bike is at 60". I have a video racing him, but you can't see his bike real well. To me, 60" and lowered a bit looks EXACTLY what a zx-14 should look like. One of my 'busa buddies at the track loves my 14, but says at stock wheelbase it looks like its been kicked in the ass. lol. 60" is where I'm going to take mine eventually.

Thanks for the links warbird. I will have to call macintosh tomorrow. And thanks for the pics halvefast, 3" over is really close to what Im looking for. With that arm did you get 60"? Just wondering if 3" over means 3 over the longest or shortest point on the stocker. Because you can get to just over 58" on the stock arm.

No sweat............. Here is a link to Rickey Gadsons 06. It has a lengthened stock arm.............would be the way to go if you decide just what length you want. Kind of a sleeper set up that way.

I boughtit off a guy in Kentucky, not sure who did it, I'll try to find out.
It is exactly 3" over from pivot bolt to axle bolt.
When it is strapped and lowered with the axle in the middle of adjuster measures 60.25"
Funny though, I had my buddies 08 Busa on my trailer this weekend next to mine,
they looked to be exactly the same length

Thanks halvefast............... I live in Kentucky...........let me know if you find anything out. Your swingarm looks good.
Suzuki probably advertises the Busa wheelbase the same as the 14...........but in reality
it's 60". Anything to gain an advantage in the magazine tests.......

Another owner with the same arm said he had TRAC do it, yes it is a stocker,
Thanks I'm really happy with it too. Had it anodized instead of powdercoating,
cheaper, and helps strengthen the whole arm too.

Halve, I've yet to put on my lengthened stocker. Still need a few bearings. When I'm done It'll be adjustable from 0" to 4", I'm going at about 3" like yours. Thanks for the pics!!

Use bolt-ons to find you length before you buy any arm.
Very few of us keep changing the length after we find what we like.
remember you have to do something to the chain every time you change lengths.
Used bolt-ons are cheap and you can re-sale when when you decide.

Thanks guys, C&S did it for CSC. I got it from Nick a few months ago. It's powder coated. I need a bearing and want to have my own chain and Kawi pivot bolt tool before doing the job. :^)
