front Countershaft noise

I sent a 08 front sprocket cover to be chromed and a 06-07 was returned. It does not allow for the Dampner. now i'm getting a lot of nooise on decleration from the front countershaft.

Is noise from the countershaft comon. thanks in advance

that's weird... my 07 had a dampner. Maybe the case is just thicker now that it's chromed... but I would think that there would still be plenty of room. I don't want to sound like an ass, but is your chain loose?

looking at the mico-fische did ot show it on 07 seven probably a mid year change or something.
