Snowmoblie
I stole this pic from a fellow site.. If they mind I'm sorry. Not really
But it makes a point.... who still rides when the snow blows?
I used to... Ice race and always rode on New Years day back in Chicago.

that wierd stuff on the ground in the above pic. its just like what you find in your everyday freezer, only it can fall right out of the sky in tiny little "flakes" if its cold enough! call me crazy, but yes it really does happen lol :P

I have not seen you start too many threads TOOLMAN... you are always the one to get a few good lines in... Ha Ha.. anyway... I live in Wisconsin.. and I would never ride on a road like that. Even IF you keep your bike upright.. the idiot that loses it and takes you out will ruin your day!!! Not to mention that we are in the midst of the dreaded deer season.. and they are big and stupid at this time of year. There is NO way to stop if (or WHEN) they jump you! I got caught one time in about 4 inches of snow/sleet... and it took me forever to get home on the backroads. It is really good practice to keep it under control.. but it is not very smart. Once they put down the sand/salt.. I feel that the bike has no business being on the street. We take the dirt bikes and the 4 wheeler around the acres though! I have the 14 in my little motorcycle garage out by the barn. It will soon be snowed in and not move until the snow has melted and it has rained to clear off the roads. I guess we are lucky here because over the past couple of months the bike was at its peak with cool dry air running through the motor. You guys would not believe how much better, stronger and faster the bike is in that weather. But now you guys will still be riding and we will just be reading about it on here. I am thinking of getting the green plastics and tank over the winter. I just have to price it and plan ahead of the economy. This is the time that we get rid of any and ALL bugs out there though... that is another positive. (Yes I am grasping at straws.. but I have to try to think of the positive??!!)

Done my share of riding in snow and sub-zero temperatures. I must be going soft though, because these days I leave the bike garaged and take the car.

I really don't think they was riding in that. If you look closely there are not any motorcycle tracks going to the bike and the bike is to clean to have been riding in the snow. Its photshop.

It's not a chop IMO -- blow it up and you'll see for yourself. It was probably staged, but IMO that bike is really sitting on that road in that picture. Maybe they just dumped it off the truck to shoot that pic...
