guys this is as real as it gets. smokin puts his pants on one leg at a time just like every one else. we are lucky to have his expertise in riding and mechanics representing our side. he helps anyone that will listen to go faster and learn about the 14s. as far as real world credibility his actions and numbers are beyond reproach. just because you live on a mountain top, weigh 260+, or haven't been spending enough time in the seat because you live up north, etc, etc, does not make his numbers any less real or credible. thanks smokin for all your help in making my bike better and i love feeding your numbers with the 14 to the guys that ride the other bikes out there. the stock 14 ran what??? is the most common response, or as the man with the loudspeaker said , "find me someone else to race "

Smokin: Dont let a few jealous racers bug ya. The rest of us here enjoy your posts and admire the times you turn. Frankly, we dont care about the "corrections" or your "weight". Neither matter very much in the real world. What matters is your detailed posts, advice and information on the ZX14. Keep up the good work, the rest of us really appreciate it !!

Lee is the fastest and certainly one of the most knowledgeable riders on this board, and probably one of the fastest on the ZX14, period. He is the king in my books, and few can say anything less than that about him. I've yet to see anyone beat his times...151 LBS or less/more, no one has come close yet, except maybe Ninjaboy311. The pro drag racers don't run his times on his setup . You guys need to show some respect.

Sorry guys KSPZ3 just pushed the right buttons at the right time , He said he was just joking but at the time i read it it didn't seem to me to be a joke ..
I don't get mad very offten but when i do it's not pretty ... It takes me some time to get back to normal because i tend to dwell on things more than others ..
So the bike is going to the track Wednesday night and the air is going to be friggen cold and dry as it gets in FL ... Looking for temps in the low 40s when the sun goes down ..Problem is the track doesn't hook well in cold temps, so we will see what happens ..

The 10 is gone and he knows to the .01 what his 06 will run at a given air temp.

Tonights testing was pretty much a wash .. The cold track caused a lot of tire spinning runs .. Good news the bike made more power in the cool 50 deg temps .. What runs i got without tire spin i screwed up by not getting my feet back on the pegs for the one two shift ... I miss second gear 3 times. My last and best run on the bike was a 1.64 60 footer , 6.26 @ 118 and change and that was spinning in 2 gear, that pass would have been in the teens but for the tire spin . My best 60 footers were two 1.57s but i missed shifts on those two passes . Only good news the bike picked up a soild 2 MPH with the cool air ..
The bike was the same as last week right down to the fuel ,the only difference being the temp change from 87 to 50 deg ..
Next test will be with a Brocks Smeg and NO P/C ...JesseJames82 is buying a sidewinder for his zx14 and i'm getting his Brocks street smeg..

Hey Smokin have you ever tried the shorty smeg(or alien head) just to see if it made a smidgent more power on the big end?? I think Brock had claimed that the shorty had made 2 HP more????

Isn't that the truth, your 10 bucks won't even put gas in the bikes requested for the test suggested. Your ideas and responces are negative and stupid in general but that's just you....
Why don't you get enough pennies together and get your own bike(s), risk your life(per run) and report the findings(instead of living vicariously thru others). Better yet, get a 14 first!

hey peckerhead ...i don't have 1 zx14 ive got 2.. ... risking life per run you are about a dumb mofo ...cause isn't a track a "safe environment "...what you want MR9 fuel.. pump gas is only 1.65 /gal...you sound like a Democrat
now you see my negative ...i wasn't negative before ....
and report findings ...thats smokeys job he's been doing good ...but putting a run from 1 bike and comparing it to another a year later is kinda like apples and oranges ....
but i do like the findings of the 09 which started this thread ...but its too bad we will never know how a brock out 06 runs vs a stock 09 zx14 or a 08 zx10 ...same track same nite same rider
