If you are looking for an engine, there is 1 in classifieds. OSR has 1. My engine holds up fine even with nitrous. ,You must have got a lemon.

The only motors I hear blowing up are ones that people put their hands in...Or nitrous without a nitrous map!!!

Starting to mod the bike just bought the cams for it now i just have to buy the 1530 stroker kit and i will have around 240 hp to the rear wheel. Next year i am going to do the 300 rear wheel with 6" extended swing arm, and also i am going to turbo it so it should have around 400 hp to the rear wheel. I just found out that my motor spun a main bairing which ruined a rod and a piston and the crank. The thing is i took it in when it had warrenty in the beginning of summer because there was a peach gel in the oil and the dealship wanted to do nothing about it. They tipped the bike up checked the level and then said the gel was condinsation and to change the oil they did nothing else. Now all of a sudden this happens and they are trying to say it is rider naglect and not manufactures defect. I am fighting this to the end because I dont see how it is not the bike is for show has never really been raced I changed the oil 4 times this summer and I know i was no where near as hard on it as I should be able to be. Kawasaki has not been nice to talk to either it seems the dealershit and kawasaki are trying to do whatever it takes to pin it on me.

Nope i have PCIII with correct map, K/N Filter, Full Muzzy Exhaust, Extended swing arm but i would think.none of that should effect th main bairings.

Go to another dealer, some are very good, some are POS.

Main bearing or Rod bearing, sound like rod.
Mains usually kill the cases.

main and rod bearings are made of the same material, and both are in there side by side on the crank. Just wishing for a cheaper fix for you, Rod and crank Vs rod and Cases.
Bearing material in the pan don't automaticlly tell you which one let go.

option 1.....buy a $2000 engine, pay someone to install.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kawasaki-ZX14-Motor-Engine-ZX-1400_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a1Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem330289428601QQitemZ330289428601QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
sell the good parts off your engine and send me $1250 as half of the $2500
i just saved you.

option 2.......send the engine to a site sponsor for some serious upgrades for the same money. where are you located?

option 3.......start parting the entire bike. add the $5000 and get you a new 09, leftover 08.
, or used bike already modded, and then send me 1/2 the money you saved.
many good used bike in the $8k range.

option 4. grab you ankles and let that dealer go to work on you.
