Help with DigiKill setup

I got the chance to ride the bike this morning with the air shifter and it works great. Muzzy sends the unit out with both the delay and kill time set right in the middle. It feels like the shift could go a bit quicker, but Im not sure if I should shorten both or just one at a time. What is working for you guys. If I shorten up both times too much and it mis-shifts can I damage the tranny?

thanks

Sean

+2 Left mine as delivered.
My transmission was mint when I took it apart too!
If you have the transmission race cut, you can go quite a bit shorter on the kill, the delay depends how close the solenoid is to the shift cylinder, and how much pressure you are using.

I know some guys with race cut transmissions ands the solenoid right on the shifter using 160 psi run the delay and kill combined as low as 40 milliseconds...
use and tune at your own risk.

I have an R&D trans in my 12 with the switching valve/solenoid mounted ON the air ram (regular small ram) with NO delay. I used 65ms of kill time with no trouble, going to try 60 and maybe 55... oh and 150 psi

You can adjust it if you feel like it has too much kill, I would start with the kill time but be sure to mark your original settings. You want to test the kill time on the 1-2 shift since it is the longest. If you have a dyno available that is a good place to do it since you want to test it with the engine making rpm's. It is best to try one thing at a time so it is easy to get back if you need to.
