ok here is the problem I needed a new set of tires so i found a good deal on some while I was out of town. when I got back to houston I had them out on I pay I leave I noticed something wasnt right A little shakeing. So I look at the rims no weight on the back on and the is two small dings on the front rim on the lip. so I take it back thay said they would balance them again. when i picked up my bike they told me my front rim was bent....How did it get bent? they said maybe a pot hole or something...It was fine when i took it up there befor thay put the new tires on....maybe it was bent by the tire machine? what do yall think?

really a shame. i hear so much bad stuff about the dealers, i do not trust them to do anything. it appears they hire incompetent mechanics that don't know or dont care about the bikes they work on. kawasaki are you listening?

My friend owns a shop and I stand there and chat while he does the tires.

Most dealership mechanics suck azz........they couldn't change a diaper properly let alone a tire. As long as you take your bike to shops for work you're always going to be fighting over dents, scratches, nicks, loose/damaged parts, sloppy work and never have peace of mind. For tires take the wheels off yourself...clean them up good, take them in, and tell the shop foreman that you want them back exactly how you gave them up. Any marks you find on pick-up, make the shop VERY aware of...take a picture if you have a good cell phone.......if the damage is bad leave the rims there till they fix it. And tell them if there's any shaking your coming directly back to discuss how they plan to "correct" the situation. NEVER take anything out of a shop parking lot before giving it a thorough look over. In situations like this haste can make some serious waste.........as in wasting your wallet
Unfortunately now that you've left the shop without pointing the problem out........even though everybody including the shop knows they bent your rim........they are going to refuse to do anything. You probably just learned an expensive lesson

This is what small claims court is for. Read up about your local court before you talk to the owner. Tell him you want a new rim. Ask him if he would ride on a repaired front rim. Tell him if you don't get a new rim he will be seeing you in court. These alum/mag. alloys don't bend well. They crack.
I have done small claims court myself. Should be pretty inexpensive to do.
Good help is hard to find and the owner knows it. He probably hears about mistakes all the time.
