Doesn't seem worth it for those displacement increases (since the stock block should be fine at 2mm over, yielding a 1417, and a 1530 with the stroked crankshaft).
For turbo apps there is really no reason to go larger than stock bore, IMO.
Are you done with the cylinder head and cams? It seems like there was more to be done in that area of the engine.

I would be interested in this as well. Since there have not been a good reliable kit available for the 14 most of my money have going into my car. I know the muzzy kit is out there but i have had bearing troubles in the past with my zx-12 so i am waiting on something more reliable becasue i do ride on the street

Yes, we have been CNC porting zx14 heads for almost a year now. Bigger cams with stock pistons are limited by P to V clearance. You need pistons with deeper valve reliefs and higher compression to run the cams the engine really needs. If you stay with stock bores then the pistons are a "drop in" and the porting, cams, and compression are much easier.

I dont see why the Muzzy stroker kit wouldnt be reliable for an NA application.
Maybe I could see head gasket sealing issues between the cylinders with an 86 mm stock block with a lot of boost or heavy nitrous.
Are people having head gasket issues with the 86mm bores?

Heres a look at the MID sleeve system.....
http://www.darton-international.com/dsCatalogue2006.pdf
If we can get several people to commit these guys will make a batch of custom sleeves for this application. Maybe even stock them, thats what I'm hoping for. This will cut the cost to the first group of guys big time.
Otherwise they will have to make them manually 4 at a time....$$$$
So whos up for this?

How much for JUST the sleave? I don't have the money for the whole kit, but by early December I should have enough for just the sleave. Then I'll send it in with the engine when I'm ready for it all. If you aren't sure, just give me a range of where you think it'll fall so I can throw it into the budget (without the wife finding out, of course!)

The offset is minimal, .5mm on the inner cyl and 1.5mm on the outer cyl. This offset being so small wont create a need for an offset crank. But if your going to have a crank made anyway you cna get it offset ground.
The sleeves will be about $200-$250 each. The block machining about $800-$1000.
A set of custom CP pistons with gas porting and a top of the line ring package will be about $800-$1000. The domes are still being designed. You will need to specify the pin height for the stroke you are going to run. The max stroke is about +5mm / 66mm. About 1569cc displacement.
The cost of the pistons is for one off custom. If they can make several sets the price comes down. They may even stock them and list them in the lineup if this combo becomes a popular setup.
So as you can see all the pricing depends on the volume.
I dont really know if the zx14 crowd is as hard core and into the big motor / big power like the Busa guys. With the block design being more limited the options are much fewer than the Busa, maybe this sleeve option can change that.
But the 9 votes for $2000 tells me somthing very different.
