Changed to Semi-Synthetic oil at my 600 mile service. Good/Bad?

I changed over to semi synthetic oil at my first oil change BEFORE reading on here that this may not be a good idea (why?). Since it's too late to go back (from what I hear), will my bike be ok? I now have about 1300 miles on it and all seems fine.
Any advice and/or experiences would be appreciated.

Most would recommend going full synth at your second oil change or 2k miles.

i've never heard bad news either way though.

50 miles I changed with dino, 200 miles Mobil1, all my new bikes get synthetic at 200 miles after a break in oil flush

The only reason to wait for a bit is due to rings being seated. Once that is done, you are free to switch. If you run it properly you can seat the rings in a short time. If you follow the factory break in, then you should probably wait before you switch.

Actually with todays modern engines and materials rings seat extremely fast {2-3 heat cycles} also Another myth is they will still seat with synthetic oil. I drop my dino oil at 50-100 miles then go full syn. No blow by here just smooth quiet sailing.

Thanks for the opinions/experiences. Seems like there are several schools of thought on changing our oil over to synthetic. Since I already switched at 600 miles, I guess I'll find out if that was a wise choice! lol
In the future, how will I know if I have a problem? In other words, what should I be looking for that says either I have a problem OR that all is well?
