PCIII Accellerator Pump feature
PCIII Accellerator Pump feature - is there any of you that are using this feature on the PCIII?? I put in the recommended settings for track (versus the street) and didn't really notice anything. The settings were 75% sensitivity, 20% fuel, 15 revs. I got a buddy with a Repsol 1000rr. His settings are 75% sensitivity, -18% fuel, 25 revs. He said he started with the recommended settings. Later he had the bike professionally tuned and they changed the pump settings to his current setting, resulting (according to him) in a noticable improvement.
Was just curious if anyone has played around with this feature, and if so, what settings are working for you and what settings you have tried that didn't work.

There is a thread from last year. I believe that the main feedback was that it was not worth bothering with although it could be positive under certain uses.

I searched but it just turned up too many posts that didn't have anything to do with what I was looking for.

after I put a data logger ont the bike I could see that the ECU was adding gas when I hit the throttle hard . The ecu appears to have the function already. I tried it , but ended up turnig it off.

I don't use mine. I'm pretty sure Brock and Mr Cheese don't either...its my understanding that this 'pump' would be used more in a road racing application.

Yeah, that's my thread...don't waste your time turning on the feature. I would only think it could be beneficial in a big bore application.
