Torque Wrench Question Again
Not too long ago I started a thread asking if I should spend the money on a Snap-On torque wrench and I got some great information back. Most everyone said I should buy Harbor Freight or a Craftsman if I am working around the engine and only use Snap-On if I intend to work INSIDE the engine. Also, I was told to buy a "Beam" type of torque wrench, and not a "Clicker" type, since the beam one doesn’t require recalibrating. All this material was wonderful but I forgot one key thing... what sizes do I need?
Consider I will ONLY be doing light maintenance such as oil changes and light mods and any big time work will go through a bike repair shop nearby.
1. I think I've read that I should have a 1/4" in in# and a second one that is 3/8 in ft#. Overkill?
2. What range should I get the wrenches? Some have very small ranges while others cover huge ranges like 20-250?
Thanks again folks!
