08 zx14 fender eliminator kits

What do you guys think of the Rumble Fender Eliminator Kits? Are they good quality, and is there a better kit out there that anyone can suggest?
Thanks for the help!

I have one installed on my Concours 14 as it's the same kit for both bikes. Looks great and works perfectly as well.

I'm not familiar with the rumble kit.

I used two "L" shaped brackets from the hardware store and wired in a "license plate" LED. A little black RTV to fill in the extra holes from the mudflap. The setup cost about $5. If you're pretty good with tools, I'd give it a try. It looks just as good as any of the expensive kits I've seen.

+1 …

Note: I am not a big do it yourself repair guy, but I found it as easy or easier to just put in L brackets and run a little LCD. I think it actually looks better because the License plate sits closer to flush with the underside of the bike.

One thing to mention put two bolts on the L bracket and it will not loosen off when riding.

Moto-Fab.com is owned by Ted and he makes great kits for the 14 and ZRX, I have them both and am well pleased with his products.

I like this one because it was cheap ($27 shipped, off ebay) and because it allows you some fore and aft movement of the bracket to accomodate extra wheelbase. Shown on my 07:

One note, it doesn't have provision for a tag light. So if that is an issue for you or your state inspection, you might not want this one.

I used L brackets also using the stock innner holes. The plate is viewable for cops in cars but not to traffic cameras!!!!!
