Gots myself a race.

Well, I went to bike night tonight at Funbike Center here in San Diego. There was a guy with an 08 busa that has rear lowering bones, brocks alien head, and PC-3. We started talking and he was asking about how my bike runs at the track. He's a pretty new rider and is heavier set (probably 5'11" and probably 235-240ish). He couldn't believe that my bike runs mid 6's, because he still hasn't gotten out of the 7's. We're supposed to meet up on saturday and ride out to the track together. I'm going to spank that busa every chance i get, but hopefully i'll be able to help him into the 6's and make a few runs on his bike myself . I'll try to get some pics and videos.

I guess we'll see. I'm not the least bit scared that I'm going to lose though. The weight difference alone is going to murder him. I weighed myself today at 165 lbs. I can tell you right now that from what i've seen, unless he's really riding the piss out of his bike or he's spraying... he's not going into the mid 6's. He weighs too much.

i weight 185lbs and i went 6.22@119.7mph, stock wheelbase, stock gear. Some friends with 08 busas close to the same weight are turning simular numbers and couple of them are better riders then me and have been some 6.0Xs on stock wheelbase and pump gas i think with more practice i can get a little better. My best pass so far i had to let off the gas some in first cuz the bike started coming up way too high for my liking but i did manege a 1.55 60.

My best time thus far is a 6.40 @ 117 with a 1.62 60ft in bone stock trim. I'm hoping to get my 60 ft times down. I can honestly say that this kid doesn't seem like the greatest rider, but I guess we'll see. I'm not worried about 08 busas... It's the stretched gen1 that pulls up with a sidewinder that i don't know what internal stuff he has done that makes me raise an eyebrow.
