Bringing the thread back from the dead...
I had intense pulsing when braking hard, like from 100mph to 30mph. I thought it was the rotors, but tried the HH pads. After a few rides there is no more pulsing. The HH pads seem to have solved the problem.

Went thru the same thing with my bike - 2008 ZX14 with 12,000 miles.
I was experiencing some bad front brake shudder, removed the stock pads, cleaned all the seals and pins, and installed EBC HH pads.
Scuffed up the stock rotors with some sand paper and all is good now.

Strange how pads will mimic warped rotors.

2nd set going on 3rd. I admit I like slowing after going fast. Some bike just stop, others there must be a ritual you need to follow of do's and don'ts.

Surely kawasaki should take responsibility for this. The material used to make the discs should be looked into.

23k miles on my 2007 ZX14, still original rotors, still original pads.
