Metzler Dragtecs

Anyone tried these new shoes? If so how are they on the street and strip? My 14 hooks good on the street and track with the pilot power race but my turbo busa at 63 ins. is spinning like hell on the street. I've got a boost controller and I've been playing with my suspension but to no avail. I've heard good things about the "dragtec"

I tried the dragtecs when they first came out and hated that tire. I know some guys are having good luck with them, but they might have had better track conditions than i had. I had a shinko 003 soft...then the dragtec...then back to the shinko. The shinko shaved a good tenth off my 60's over the dragtec.
I called metzler and they told me tuff shit it works on harleys...so i won't buy anything from them again. Also they first showed this tire as a flat carcass tire like the mikey but when mine showed up it looked like a rebadged road race tire. I love the michelins...pilot power race "soft".

Why do people expect a turbo bike to hook up on the street??

As low as 8 psi and it didn't last very long. I now run the mich at 20-25 and it has lasted the end of last year and all this season so far. I burn 2 seconds on both sides then about 3 in the middle. I love the mich...and it's so much lighter than the shinko. You may have better luck with it...
