+1 slates, Sticks- those pics/procedures shane laid out were right on time per your question. Also you may want to download the service manual for your bike. I know Black Magic posted it up as a thread and you can locate it pretty easy. It's free too and I know you probably may like that the most . Be cool!

The service manual was a nice get. I even printed it out. Did'nt realize I would be sacrificing 2 trees to do it though. I hate pdf on the computer and it's much better when printed out, just make sure you have plenty of paper and toner.

I've had guys try to email the manual to me before but neither my work or home email would accept it. Too large. Is there any place online I can download it from?? I've tried a few times already, but everywhere I went it had been deleted or was innaccessible.

Give this a whirl, compliments of Blackmagic. Copy and paste into your address bar.

Hey Sticks_n_Stones to install air filter pretty easy no manual needed.
1) remove the grills two screws pull off near bottom push plugs
2) remove ram air tube covers 3 screws one notch at top pull to outside at front.
3) remove front tank cover 3 screws pull from back out forward and up.
4) there it sits on left side.
A new air filter won't help as I will still beat you in any race. Possibly kidding but maybe not...

Thats a good ride, right around where I'm comfortable without getting sore wrists or feet. Unfortunately I'm working this weekend, business trip the 15th to the 25th, then packing, moving, and unpacking until sometime early next month. Wasting some of the best riding time of the year

After I'm settled in, I'll try to set something up, maybe a bigger ride with all the Oregon/Washington riders I can scrounge up to do a St. Helens/ Northern Oregon run. My friends did a run through the area southeast of Portland and have been talking about going back ever since. I bet you know all the roads around there, don't you? If I forget about it, feel free to remind me next month (got ALOT of shit going through my head right now...)
