Congrats to Nelson

First of all nice Meeting Nelson at the track, Stand up guy for sure. Myself, Nelson and one other guy that was with me where the last three bikes left in the 9.50 heads up class yesterday in Kansas city. but we did not get to finish the race as it was the worst ran event I have ever been to and they had to shut down at 10.00pm. So we split the money! I was also still in in 2 other classes as well. Nelson has one of the cleanest and best looking 14's I have seen. And it runs as good as it looks! Right now I feel I have the perfect 9.50 bike. I was leaving softer and short shifting and running between 9.49 to 9.53.

Thanks guys.....
Congrats to you as well Bently
It was definitely nice meeting you. I would not hesitate to travel to Iowa and race with you and your buddies. I will pm you when I decide to travel that way. Bently is a great guy to race with, and that 08 Busa is fast (ZX14 riders) you better believe it. I love the setup

It got tough trying to keep them bikes from going below the 9.50 in eliminations.
Btw, Bently what where the numbers between you bob in the last round we ran.
I ended up going on the brakes against the black/silver 1K as we were both punching gears early while sitting next to each other mid track. Fortunately he told on himself in earlier in the day that he had a 9.30 bike. So I made him run the bike a little harder than he wanted.

I seen Nelson running at a track in Benton lL. recently and had no idea it was the same Nelson Taylor who posts on the net. He can really get down the track and it came down to him and Hoots Busa, another good rider I was lucky to meet that day. Wow I wish I could ride like that. Even though I pretty much embarrased myself on the stock height zx, Nelson did ask me how I liked the bike so far. I thought that was pretty cool of him seeing how advanced he is with his ride, to talk with such a rookie as myself. Good luck in your future Nelson!!!

No, I was leaving soft and short shifting to stay around 9.50. I've been 20's I say it again both bikes run the same it's all rider. Plus the Busa is shorter as well.

Nelso, Bob had me on the tree just alittle bit but I went a I think a 9.53 and he was farther off then that. He lifted and as soon as he did I did as well. I don't have the slip because I handed it to my buddy as I thought I was going to run the next rd of the other class right away.
