help!!!
last night i went to the track and every time i launched it felt like it want ed to take off like a bat out of hell but then it falls on its face and slowly gets up to speed.bogging off the start every time.im launching at 4 grand.recently when i weht to the track it ran fine then right before my last two runs after doing warm ups i noticed it idling funny.can anybody help?these are my mods.full yosh trc,k&n filter,tre,flies out.

Hard to say if there is anything wrong with the bike or if your just letting the clutch out to fast and not getting on the gas soon enough. Have you ran the bike before at thetrack and had good 60 fts with your set-up?

i thought the same thing but i launch the same every time.it started doing it the last time i went to the track.last two runs of the night and then all last night.when i take off its like the front wants to come up and launch hard and then all the sudden nothing it bogs and then wants to gradually pick up speed.

I have that same problem way to often, it is when I let the clutch out to fast. I have a few decent launches then I do it again. Unfortunately it is rider error. One thing I have found that helps is to set the clutch lever on "1" on the dial. This gives you a little more room to play with the clutch. I prefer it on "5" for street riding though.

I try and divide my concentration between getting the clutch out as fast as possible and (the important bit) keeping the revs climbing by winding on the throttle. Getting on to full throttle and clutch out as soon as I can.
Unless your bike does have a fault it sounds like you aren't rolling the throttle on as the clutch bites. The 14 has a strong clutch, it WILL take the abuse, just try not to loop it.

Track prep could be your issue!
You probably were spinning the tire slightly on the hard runs, and when the track was prepped real good, the tire would hook so hard, it bogged the motor on the others...

i also was running a pilot power the last time and i am now running a shinko ultra soft.i spun quite a bit with the power but this past friday with the shinko never spun once.

Did it start bogging after the tire switch or did it happen on both sets of skins?

it started my last two runs on the pilot then every time with the shinko.my bike has been running funny here lately to.not idling right all the time.exhaust sounds different as well,lacking a little power.may need a good tune.
