I run the piloot power 2Cs and really like them.
They're softer than the roads and wear out quicker, but not near as soft as my full race michelins on the track bike

Hey smooth, where did you get'em from. I'm thinking about picking up a set. How are they as far as "stick" compared to the stockers

I ran the Pilot Road 2's on my BMW R1100RS and loved them. I had 7300 miles on them when I had to change them out in Anchorage Alaska as they weren't gonna get me home to Phoenix. I'm guessing thet they had 2 to 3 thousand more miles in them. I had to put Metzelers on as that was all that they had in Alaska.
The Michelins made the beemer feel 100 pounds lighter and had plenty of grip even in the wet. The mileage seems to be on par with any of the other sport touring tires that I've run. Obviously the beemer doesn't have the power that the 14 has so "mileage may vary".
I may try them on my 14 one of these days.

Will be trying these tyres when I ride across Australia and back again in October, I'll give a review when I return. I loved the original Pilot Roads on my ZZR1100 and could easily get 18,000kms out of a rear with daily use, onlything I found bad about them is if they got to hot, tread then disappeared at an alarming rate!
