Thanks. I think the bikes angled away, but it still looks like Lurch sitting on a pony. A FAST pony, though! Looking at that shot really makes me want to get that fender eliminator, also. Take it easy, and keep the rubber side down.

Mono... those silver 14's are just so DAMN good looking...wait a second...I own one, YEAH BABY!!! I hear the reds are the fastest, the blacks are the meanest; I think the silvers are the slickest and bestest looking Would you happen to have any grey poupon?

I think the smeg looks the best, because it compliments the chrome bits and pieces on the bike. Besides the oem chrome decals, I added chrome vortex brake and clutch handles, chrome oil, brake and clutch resevoir caps, chrome rear spools, chrome tank protector, chrome wind screen and since the pics were taken, ive ordered chrome bar ends and chrome frame sliders. Iv'e owned hundreds of bikes over the years and never once chromed anything, but a christmas gift got me started on a few add ons which I thought looked darn good on the silver.
As far as sound ........ hmmmmm.....iv'e titled the Brock smeg the"piss the Harley crowd off end can". That thing barks and HARD!! I get goose bumps when that can is on the boil in the upper rev range. Gawd...I can't image what cars or other bikes think when I pass them. But with that, long trips becomes anoying to my ears without ear plugs, especialy for my spousal unit on the back. For that reason I only utilize it for special occasions and shorter rides.
The "Hindle" pipe is a Brocks gen 3 in glow pollished titanium. Thats my every day end can. It sounds typical of oval canisters and and alot quieter than the smeg. And quite honestly...with the Brocks street map(current map) the gen 3 actually runs better, and sounds tighter. The decel pop is not nearly as freequent as with the smeg, and I loose an anoying skip when the throttle is first applied.

Hey mono, have you tried the plugs from Brock? I've been watching this thread as my '08 SE is in the shop. ( will posting soon when I get all the details). But while it's there I'm going to have them swap out the pipes on Kawi's dime. I ride a lot, so overall performance means as much as looks. I like the smeg's look the best, but after reading your post, I'm not sure that's a good everyday solution. (I've put 7000 on it in 3 months).
Anybody have any pics of Brock's Black Chrome SMEG? I saw a Sidewinder on this string and I'm not sure I like the color. SupermanT has a nice black but that wasn't from Brock. There's a lot of red on the '08 SE, I'm not sure if I should go black or chrome.
BTW, great job with the Silver '08.

NYC 14-I apprecaite your creative vision on that exhaust but maybe you can take a photo of that purty ZX without that old, beat up caddy/ford wagon and plastic lawn chairs .Maybe with the bike alone might grant you a screen saver but trust me those items are not highlighting the awesome machine you purchased. Ride safe!!!

Wow, theres definitely no accounting for taste. Most of those exhaust look worse than the stockers. To each his own, glad I went with what I did.
