Thunder Valley Raceway

Do any of you race at Thunder valley in (Noble ?) oklahoma near OKC? My dad sent me a few pictures from when he went to watch the PMRA finals there last year. I was wondering if any of the pictures of 14's were people that are on here.

Damn that's a nice bike. How do you like your sidewinder? Does it make riding on the streets a pain in the ass? I thought about one for drag racing, but still like to go out and ride the canyons every now and then. (not trying to drag knees or anything, just at a brisk pace) I don't guess that he saw your bike out there that day. There's a pretty nice Burnt orange 14 in the staging lanes in one of the pics though.

Noble is a very nice track. All concrete if I remember. Hooks very well. Never run PMRA there, but I have raced there. Windy though......

We have had , wind outs....... , instead of rain outs.......lol

I live in Nebraska..........I drive 8 hrs. one way to race PMRA, But it's worth it.

I wouldn't buy a sidewinder if you like to "carve corners".

8 hrs to race for 100 bucks and a 5ft trophy........wow......

I live 5 hours and I wont go there.........

Nice events PMRA has, but for the amount of streetbikes in S/ET, they should pay 1000 to win. Then we would all come up.

I think the 2006 winner bought my old trailer......

Nox, I race multiple classes......... and it also gives me a chance to get seat time on the H2 that I ride for my friend from Dallas at AMA events. Also this year I will be riding an outlaw bike in the prostreet class that is also owned by a friend from Dallas. It's convenient (if you call driving 8 hrs. convenient ) for both of us. PMRA also has alot of great people, so even if you go out first round you still have a good time.

were you the guy on the Black laydown H2 last year at the finals? I've got some good pictures of it and a decent video. Man that thing was wicked.

Not knocking the event and how fun it is.., I was just saying, thats a lot of damn drive for the payout of one class.......

Thats what I get for assuming......

Who won S/ET in 2006? I can't remember his name........, from what he said when he bought my trailer, all he had to do was show for the last event, and he had it wrapped up.........

IF I remember correctly........Mark Sitton had the championship wrapped up in 06 "IF" he showed up for the last race........BUT he didn't show!!!!!! Rick Howell ended up winning the championship in 06 . I lead S/ET points all year in 07 until the last race of the season when Rick ended up going more rounds than I did and he won the championship again in 07.

I'll have to see if i can find a way to get the pictures to you. I can't post any pictures or video right now because i'm out in the middle of the Pacific off of south america on a Navy ship. Shoot me a PM with your e-mail, or shoot me an E-mail at yatesc@ffg37.navy.mil and i'll see what i can do.
