Fully illustrated Buell peg mod. (2008)

Hi there,

I just completed installing my Buell Firebolt XB pegs onto my 08 ZX-14, I took pictures as I went along.

The complete illustrated mod can be found here ...

Buell Peg Mod

My very first mod contribution to the ZX-14 community. Comments / Feedback are greatly appreciated.

Enjoy !

Excellent report Bonzai! What do you personally think of the mod yourself, do you like?

I'm going for my first ride this afternoon as soon as the wind calms down. I'm thinking the extra inch will help with my right hip to some degree.

One concern I had I took care of myself by shaving the stand peg off. The other concern I had was my heals hitting the stock pipes if I rotated my feet back. I usually ride center foot with my toes pointed down, so i dont think it will be a problem.

Now if mother nature would just reduce the wind mph from 25 to 10-ish, I'd be set.

Lurkers are not a bad thing. 90% of the internet are lurkers, the other 10% being contributors. That's just the nature of the beast in this world.

I'm sure of one of the lurkers came up with a novel mod, it'd be posted for sure.

Lurkers on the net = that grain of salt.

Now we'll get to see if I can follow my own instructions as I make a pair for my 09.

Repeating stuff is boring, unless it's good sex.
