help front cover
this may sound like a dumb question, how the heck do you get the front sprocket cover off?

one of the clutch slave cover bolts goes through the sproket cover too. the real long one.
I don't remember which one now, just remove 1 at a time, and replace it before taking another out...or use a c-clamp to push the slave back in for install, if you take it completely off.

I have heard the horror stories and I have to say my experience wasn't hard. Took the cover off, didn't have the correct socket(out of all my 1/2")...shocking... 27mm...sears standard 12 point...no...a deep 1 1/16...perfect. One zap to the left, a couple zaps to the right, came right off. This was with lady holding the brake, 1/2 air gun and 110psi on my old school craftsman compressor. Put the 16 on...the swing are marks are crap, measured from the swing arm pivot to axel...even. Look at the space between the swing arm and adjusters the space is uneven but the wheel is straight, go figure. Calibrated the healer to 14%, 8 for the speedo, 6 for the gear. What I have noticed...instead of doing 80 on the fw at 4k, I am now at 4.6k. Actually helps me not speed as much on the fw. Today cruised 70 at 4k. Does wind a little faster, not as wheelie happy as I thought it would be, but it does come up pretty easy. Soon as I get my new pipes all will be good!
