Got it stretched!! (PICS)

finally got it done after the extensions laid in my floor for a month and half painted the fins toomy girlfriend did the painting on the extensions i think it looks awesomejay ways 2007 GSXR 1000dowdys 07 zx14 he also helped me put them on thank you sir hope you get in the 5's this year

Nice pics! I love that white! Looks like that chain is stretched to it's max. How do those swingarm extension attachments handle big HP? Are they as strong as a full extended arm? Just curious. BTW, 1/8mile racing would suck!

hopefully by the time i get a power adder i will be able to get a full swingarm. moneys tight now a days for me and yea 1/8th of a mile gets old but thats all we have aaround here

Had the Roaring Toyz bolt-ons and said they were rated up to 300hp. Switched it out to a Roaring Toyz 240 with a 6 inch over so I can handle more.

Looks really nice. Can I ask about the split link on the chain, is it ok to use one on a bike with this much power? I was told to only use riveted links.

yea its fine to use the links i got the piece of chain from a guy that works on bikes and drag races all the time thats what he does to all his bikes saved me about 125 dollars doing it he even does it on his bandit they he sprays it runs 6.0 in the 8th footshifting

Its perfectly safe to have a master link. When i bought my chain for 8inches it didnt come together, it came with a master just like that one.

That's very interesting, I was fairly sure you hadn't fitted it without some consideration. In the club I belong to in the UK it would fail scrutineering with a split link. I'm going to ask them why? at the next meeting.

Well you do mile runs right?.. I could understand why then, but i agree they should make something better. But mines been like that for almost a year and 0 problems...so i cant complain...but i see your concern.
