Smokin, the guys I ride with, and the roads we ride on, require me to be on the gas midcorner, fighting traction as I come up etc.. I need the absolute best throttle response I can get. I could be wrong, but my experience with turbos is that when it comes on, its like a freight train, keeps piling up even with static rpms and throttle position. Unless you know a setup that gives you good enough throttle response to be able to roll on the gas while still leaned over in a very fast tight corner? As it was with the flies in, it just bugged me too hell when the secondary plates opened up. Made the power unpredictable, so I had to delay my throttle input. And my friends got by me. I dont like my friends passing me.

Turbos can be made to boost at different RPMs ...You just need to find one that works for your type of riding ..Remember just because you can make 280 hp doesn't mean you have to turn it up that high ....I'm just saying if you want the HP to go 200 MPH a turbo is the best way to get there .. The thing is if you do a big motor and it's doesn't make your goal of 200 MPH you will have to start allover ....$$$$$$$$ With a turbo you just turn up the HP ..

Alright then. Do any of you know guys who take there turbo bikes out for serious corner carving? Will need some more input on that before I throw my money that way. Am willing to consider all options though.
And if all else fails, then I'll just buy another bike for the corners. Wife will "love" that idea. lol

STICKS_N_STONES - - I pulled my seat off at Maxton and it helped. The only down fall was that is was hard to shift because my legs were cramped. You can try it out and see if you can shift ok

Weight must be huge at speed. I weigh 180 fully dressed and my bike with only slip-ons literally slams into the indicated 188 in 5th or 6th gear, no matter. This bike feels almost as fast as my old 1397 Busa.
