2008 Rear Hugger?

I found a carbon fiber one, http://projektd.com/product_info.php?products_id=28, but does anyone know where to get one with the factory paint on it?

Do you all think a carbon one would look really bad on an '08 blue model?

It's so stupid that it doesn't come with a hugger.

got mine from extreme graphics painted black - not sure about 08 model, check their site

I've checked them out. Looks like '07 paint only.

Carbon looks kick ass with just about anything. If you want color matched get their fiberglass model. Their carbon is just the fiberglass with a final layer of CF. I know because I have one. :P

I have an '08 Black & Blue as well. Who has the best hugger for the 14? Powerbronz? Others? Thanks.

I ordered my Color matched 08 Metallic Blue one from ProjektD. They have all the 08 colors. They also have real cabon fiber ones, but not color matched. I was very satisfied with their customer service and fast shipping from Taiwan. Once air shipped, I got it in less than 2 days! I know this picture makes the bike look black, but is was overcast and snowing lightly. The bike really is an 08 Sapphire Blue Metallic.

That is the ONLY place that has the paint match for an '08.

Why would they put a hugger on a bike intended for drag racing?? It would limit the amount of squat available to the rear wheel, alot of even the lighter guys rub the undertail anyway when they launch

BM, they didn't build the bike for drag racing only..lol It's intended to be a great all around sportbike and tourer.

Hey CUL8R, I just got my hugger today, same color.

On the brake hose side, does it go OVER the screw tab or does it stay behind? I think it goes over the screw tab, but I wanted to make sure.

Update: Nevermind. I figured out it goes behind and that I need to replace the old bolt with a longer bolt and a nut.

Hugger is on.
