Fieldsheer Jackets

Does anyone on here live near a shop that sells Fieldsheer jackets? i like the High temp mesh jacket, but don't know how the quality is on them. If anyone has seen one or had any experience with fieldsheer jackets your testimony will be much appreciated.

Thanks

I have a Fieldsheer Mach 4 that I like very much. It is mesh with leather over all the impact points and pads. I also have a couple of the Joe Rocket Phoenix's, and the airflow on the Fieldsheer is just as good. One thing I like better is the Mach 4 came with a rain jacket that fits over the top, and has a zipper pocket in back to store it. The Rockets have an inner liner rain jacket and no place to store it when not needed. With the overliner and a Polar Fleece under makes the Fieldsheer a multi season jacket . Dont know if the current offerings are the same, as my Mach 4 is a couple of years old. Like the Rockets, it is cut snug, so you need to go one size up for a comfy fit.

Fieldsheer jacket feedback..

Bawls:

I guess I am becoming your feedback guy, 1st the Aprilla and now this, but that why we are all here. I have a Fieldsheer jacket (air pilot) as part of a 2-piece leather suit. I bought the suit probably 4 years ago. Good fit, the ventilation works real well and I have used this suit in year-round in Florida since purchase. (Jacket is perforated leather with a snap-in thermal liner) and the protection is excellent with armor in the right places. Good for 45 to 100 degrees (in the really hot weather you want under amour cool wear under it)

Probably the only weak point is the back protector in mine is a bit thin versus newer designs, but then this suit protected me perfectly in a 50 MPH "get off" 3 years ago, had minimal damage and I walked away without a mark. Thank you Arai! Never tried the textile stuff from them, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. Hope that helps.

Ride safe....

bought the m-4 for my son and am very happy with the quality/ function of the jacket. also like the additional padding over the armor, it has very heavy construction for a mesh jacket and covers well below the waist line. i wear rocket mainly because their cut fits me better than anything else i've tried
