Will be testing the new Muzzy M-14
Just gonna let you guys know. I have decided to run the Muzzy M-14 pipe this season I have spoken to Sherrie at Muzzy and I should have the pipe Mid to late March. As soon as I get the pipe it is off to the dyno for a good mapping and some same day same dyno same bike comparisons against my SMEG. I am really excited about this as like I said before I have heard amazing things about this pipe from Rickey Gadson. So my hopes are high and I hope the pipe lives up to my expectations. This should be a good year for racing.
I have done A LOT to the bike over the off season and am really expecting some consistent mid low 8's with a light rider. As of now the bike is set up as follows NEW Velocity prostreet swingarm set at 66in NEW Oil pan (thanks to my biggest sponsors RPM cycle performance for having the guts to back a fat boy) NEW 4 Dial Nitrous controller and Window Switch still set on the 50 shot. Carpenter Racing Head milled to bump compression. Stock Degreed cams MPS air shifter (thanks again for all of MPS's help) VORTEX 16-44 gearing (thanks to Rickey and his shop www.sportbikezone.com) Soon to be added Muzzy M-14 and timing advance Rotor and EFIR from Schnitz.
Dyno numbers as of now the bike on RPM's Dynojet250i is making 205 on pump gas 255 on the dope.

If your running the Schnitz EFIR box you won't need the adv, rotor. You can advance tim with the efir off the spray at the same time retard it when selonoid is activated. I use themon all the bikes i set up. How much fuel are you adding to the map to run a 50 shot with that muzzy fogger. I have had zero luck running that much spray with one without the out side cyl,s going lean and pulling metal. I'M curious, but if you don't want to give your tune up away i understand.. Bill....

I tried to tell you guys in a earlier post about this muzzy fogger leaning out the outside cylinders.... you need to put a spray bar in the airbox and spray directly down the tb's... take it from me.. My head repair... along with 5 new valves and the repair of some seats was over 1700.00 from Coby...

I am not running the Muzzy Nitrous kit. I am running a NOS kit tuned and installed by RPM Cycle Perofrmance. I have had really good luck with this kit and the tune is great Thanks for the info on the EFIR Bill I was not aware that it advanced timing as well as retarding it that is good to know.

I was just concerned BM, I thought i saw somewhere you were using the muzzy's kit. My bad. I don't run that much nos on any fogger system, but i have never blown one up. I check the plugs anytime my ex, temps get abnormal from cyl, to cyl, The times we have tested 50 actual hp shots individual a/f and egt from cylinder to cylinder vary way outside safe limits! I guess it is ok to announce this now. As of today I am officially sponsored by Muzzy. I need to say it has really been a pleasure dealing with them and I hope to be able to provide you guys with GREAT news about their new M-14 pipe for the ZX14 I am also trying to get a set of their Billet Camshafts and Titanium Valve springs. I think both of these things have been out to long f0or us not to have some good info on them and I think the cams and springs are as of now the only weak part of my bike! hopefully I can get a set from them and we can make some more power out of this beast.
