naw, a caliper rattle would be felt more in my right foot, but this is a left foot thing. And again, it doesnt matter if Im going 20mph or 80mph, feels/sounds the exact same. Damn!
I had the dealer replace my rear spring right after I bought it and asked there mechanic to look into it, he said everything was tight. And afterwards, the new spring didnt change anything. Same damn clunking feeling. It is barely audible, mostly just a felt thing. Oh well, I can live with it as long as I know what it is and it's not hurting anything. "If"

Just wondering about the cam chain tensioner install. Will the plunger come out on its own? It's locked all the way in with a little clip untill you push on the end of the plunger. Then the clip releases and the plunger comes out. The repair manual tells you to trip it when you put it in using a long screwdriver or something, with the valve cover removed.

i have an 08 n it makes that rattle from the camchain at start up,,it doesnt bother me cause i know when it stops its getting oil pressure, different viscosity oils might effect how long it rattles

I feel the same little bump in my left footpeg, too. I thought i was feeling ghostly things, but now that someone can verify... WTF can I do to fix it? Right now im stock, except a Muzzy Alien Head full exhaust, and a PC w/ flies out and gone. Hmmm

Well Mike, first thing first: a 14 with a Alien Head and PC/flies out IS NOT considered "stock". Trust me, you roll up to race a 'Busa and he finds out your "stock" bike has those mods he's gonna be pissed. And he's also gonna have his excuse for losing already prepackaged.
I eventually will find that damn sounds origin, just will take awhile. I actually thought it was caused by a cracked frame at the engine mount, but after a thorough inspection I could find any issues (though I didnt check torque. The dealer can do that when I eventually let him have my baby. Sometime in September...)
