1.37 60 footer !!!!!!!!!

Jesse ,Teddy and myself hit the track tonight ....Jesse got to ride a turbo 1000 and it put a big smile on his face when the turbo kicked in ... This was the first time Jesse got to ride a boosted bike and he was very carefull ...His second pass the bike shut off with some kind of short in the wiring... Jesses turbo for his zx14 will be here Thursday and i'm going to start the install ASAP ...
Teddy had a pretty good night , he didn't break any records but he still ran good soild numbers...

I have been off my bike for a few weeks and i was having problems with my 60 foot times ...I ranged from 1.40 to 1.45 most of my runs but on my second to last run i tossed down a 1.37 60 footer !!! Bad part is i don't remember how i did it ..lol...But at least now i now it's possible ....That run was on pump gas and ended with a 5.70 flat at 125 and change .. That would have been one hell of a pass if i was still running MR9 fuel ...Smokin..

Well there is an 08 busa running at our track but he will not race me or even Teddy for that matter ... He has more mods that me but he is still a tenth and a half slower than me ...

I'm very happy i kept my 06 zx14 .......At best it's a riders game 08 Busa Vs 06 07 and 08 zx14 .....I wanted to upgrade to a 08 zx14 but it seems to be no faster than what i have now so why spend the money ... Hell my 06 just hit 2900 miles so it's still like NEW !!!!

That is GREAT! I called a month ago to talk to David about his kit and he just called me yesterday and man is he a great guy to talk with and his kit seems to be a very, very nice kit. I will get the lock up clutch as well since I don't need a PC.

I will be eagerly waiting for the pics and updates too Smokin'. Your results will definately help me make a decision on the Cycle-Logic or Mr. Turbo kits.

I would love to do that some time, right now i'm just trying to focus on getting my weight down. I started at 230 and now i'm down to 203, trying for 185. I know i still won't be real fast but it will put me in the ball park of some you guys. What kinda elevation are you guys at? My track is at 800ft above sea level...plus we have a whole new surface this year...supposed to be butter smooth.

We are at about 25 feet above sea level but our air flat ass sucks down here ...Most days it's over 2000 feet , in the summer i have seen it over 3000 feet ... Both tracks are close to the Gulf of Mexico ... .The trade off is we can race year round ...

As far as I am concerned, there are no ZX-14's I do not like. But the Passion Red 2006 ZX-14 will always be a classic hot rod. I am sure there are some drag race ready, turboed and/or stroked bikes in East Tennessee, but for almost two years I have just smiled, downshifted, twisted the throttle, pulled the front end off the ground until about 90-95, and blew way past everything until about 150 or so. At bike nights, stock Hayabusas literally cut their engines off or leave the area. A Red ZX-14 renders them impotent.

When doing a Turbo on the 14's, Do you have to change valve springs?? I had heard that they were weak??

With the low boost ( 8 pounds ) that we are going to run for now the stock springs will be fine ...We will change them when it the boost levels start to climb ..
