30 Shot of NOS

I am thinking of installing a 30 shot of nitrous for my 14 what are the pros and cons of doing this? Is this modification going to cause rapid engine wear?

Dry kits are great, very little upkeep, just make sure you have nos and go. Ryan told me that with a 30 shot the motor barely knows its there. You don't have to retard the timing either, just be sure to map it for the nos and you are good. I don't have the PC hub so I just run mine on the nitrous map all the time. Not the best for fuel mileage but it sure is simple.

My 12R has a 50 shot on stock motor but JE pistons and Carillos. I've run 9.08/157 but at 71 yrs old my 60fts are poor in the 1.5's. If i can pull a 1.4 next year on the strip I'll be back in the 8's where I was in 1975! I like gas but the stock injectors won't carry any more fuel to up the gas so I'm upgrading them over the winter lay off. Ran 207.9 timed on a runway hitting the gas in 4th too.
