Power curve
A friend of mine has put a pair of cans and a PC3USB on his 06 14 and taken the secondary butterflies out. A map was downloaded from Dynojet and modified on the dyno. The PC is fitted where it says on the instructions inside the l/h fairing but when the bikes on the dyno the power curve gets to 7k and then goes ballistic so he can't get a power reading. What do you think? Electrical interference maybe? Keith

Mine is ziptied to the left side ram-air piping, no problems so far.

Is the bike suffering from any other effects at that speed too, like power loss?

Seems Ok on the road, better low down power but pops a bit on the overrun. The rider is definitely not aggressive in style, don't know why he wanted more power, on the strip he launches at 3-4K!!!!!

I think your first guess was right or very close...but I'd also check the grounding of the PC3...I grounded mine at the battery post to be safe. ALso, look carefully at the PC3 connector to make sure you have a perect fit too..might have a loose wire or an open wire (stripped insulation) near the injector (-) feed...and any of those things could cause the problem you describe.
