ZX14 Valve Issue with Nitrous
I wanted to install muzzys 50 shot on an 06, Tuner stated the valve springs needed to be upgraded to keep it from destroying the engine. Has anyone ever seen this happen, If so what did it do drop the valve or did valve float cause the piston to hit the valve.

I have the 50 shot with a lot of passes and have had no issues. I cleared all of these concerns with Ryan before the install. People are largly regurgitating info and have no idea what they are talking about. I have heard of a few bikes spitting shims but they were all on the rev limiter when it happened. If I have a run where I spin or something of that nature that puts me at risk of hitting the limiter I just get out of it. If he is wanting some extra work tell him to leave your motor intact and install a 2 knob controller with a wide open throttle switch. It makes a killer combo for bracket racing. The best part is the low maintenance, as long as you have nos in the bottle you are going to go fast. Hope this helps.

30 shot dry 1st yr, then went to 60 hp wet, progressive. No issues. Just take the timing out. Youll love it.
