.lost almost 100 lbs!..goodbye 14..hello 10...
..well after 37000+ KMS on my beloved '06 14 ...it was time to say goodbye...running beautifully but getting long in the tooth for me...BK gave me a great deal on a 2oo7 zx10r and after 1 week and 530 kms..I am in love again...some gearing and minor tweaks like we have to do to every bike and she'll be perfect..I thought my 14 was the best but for kicking around the twisty stuff I am floored by the balance of this machine..don't worry..I'll always be a 14 guy as well..especially for the 1320 ft specialty...but i ride the street..and love our B.C. canyon runs...and backroad twisties...

Congrats on your bike purchase. I'm almost ready for an R1 myself, but I can't see getting rid of the 14 might keep it too

Hey dcm 21 thanks for trading in your 06 14 when you did. My girlfriend and I were able to really compare the difference in colour between the black and the new dark blue on the 08 14 before we picked it up from BK on Saturday. I am sure you will love the weight difference between the 10 and the 14 in the twisty bits, but you should really try the new 14 for sheer "wow" when you open the throttle. A big difference from the 07.
