Let's think about something, how many passes does Ricky have on 14's total because the basic bike is the same. How many passes did Richard have on an 08 Busa? About this time next year when every day guys start posting numbers i bet a few more of you wake up and say shit those two bikes are pretty much even.

maybe so.... but that busa is one ugly hoe

Whatever, last time I had a bananna seat it was on my first bicycle back in the 70's

Bill I know what you mean, I'm down 20 lbs right now and want to lose another 10 to 15 that would put me at 185 to 190 lbs.

Jeremy Teasley had made probably thirty passes on that busa they went out one day last week and didnt get a time they were happy about so took it back the next week to try to do better! I heard he had 30 pounds of ballast weight on the bike! it is just funny to me that CJ from MSP talked all kinds of shit on Psychobike and hasnt gone back on psychobike to post the results LOL

A few facts: Rickey is very experienced in launching zx14's and has hundreds of passes on those bikes. and how many times did Richard launch the 08 busa to get those numbers? besides if you look at the 330" times you can see that ricky was well ahead in MPH and still ahead at 1/8, but Suzuki 's stronger acceleration put hayabusa in front at 1/4 mile mark (MPH)so even a child can see that the launch was the deciding factor and before you start crying about air conditions remember that his next day run was nearly as good @ 704 feet while fighting wheelies! Rickes passes were also adjusted altitude 100ft below sea level! Did Ricky slide the forks on zx14?The busa's fork tubes can't be slid without other modifications so if he did ,that would give him some advantage and there was a reason for not having airfilter there too! that alone can count for the time difference, a few extra ponies! Im sure that everybody understands that if Richard had made 30 passes more the times would have dropped.

i would say the lighter rider on the suzuki is what allowed it to run a better back half...
i can see 205 plus hp for a piped and mapped 08 ZX-14...

Fact is Ricky weights more than Richard ...Fact Richards pass where a DA of 250 feet below sea level ...Rickys passes where a DA of 100 Below seal level ...Fact Rickys bike was lowered in the rear ONLY.... Fact Richards bike had 0wt oil and Rickys bike still had the factory oil in it .. Fact Richards bike had brock clutch mod and Ricky bike had stock clutch and springs...Fact both Bikes had wheely problems ..Fact Richards bike had 475+ miles on it and Rickys had 61 miles showing ...Fact Ricky bike still had the mirrors in place and Brocks were removed ..

"adjusted altitude 100ft below sea level"

Does this mean the times were "corrected" for sea-level conditions? I am just curious...that seems odd to me....

I aint talking about the passes richard made on Vrocks Busa I am talking about the MSP busa that JT ran the 9.24 that bike was lowered front and rear and I would be willing to bet that if they put a sudewinder on the bike then it probably had A POWER COMMANDER TO!!! not only that but JT has made probably 30 passes on that bike and has been riding busa for 9 years now and they were running a non oring chain and 0wt oil and JT aint no slouch with his own clutch hand I promise you that add to that that the flies were still in the 08 14 and that all adds up to at this point with no pipe modifications the 14 IS FASTER!! how they respond to modification and whether some riders are faster on one then the other remains to be seen

The pictures show the bike has a front strap installed and the tubes at stock height so the front was lowered using the strap only, just like Brock and the others on a Busa.

this is no way how you can compare the 2 bikes. They will be tested same day with same rider.you can bet on that.If ricky gadsen goes quicker big deal.he is one of the best riders on a zx14 peroid.whats gets me when a busa goes quicker its the air its the oil its has lighter rider and on and on.The busa is faster bike period as bently did his write up on the bike. You need a rider like shine who can switch from bike to bike to get the hard #s on same day as he did with the 03 12 vs 03 busa.
