Rim's anodized
Any folks out there that have taken there stock rim's and gotten them anodized? I'm not sure if the rim material would be acceptable for anodizing.

As long as it's aluminum it'll anodize. You might get a splotchy effect on some cast pieces though.

on the 06 are the wheels painted or anodized?

I have both wheels off. Appear to be coated. Going with gold powder coating. A really good anodizing job can be done but at a much higher cost. Primarily because the wheels need to be polished really well before anyone in this town will plate them. I'd really be paying twice if I didn't do the polishing myself. One cost for the polishing and another for the plating. Powder coating just requires some media blasting and coating. Less labor.
