the 06 zx14 with the same mods made 196 h.p. 116 ft lbs n i think it had a filter in it n the suzuki weighs more so more torque less weight will more than make up the 4 horse

Brock got 197 hp with the alien head on his 06 zx14 .... So it only 3 hp difference ....

Has anyone noticed that the 08 14 now has 3 cats instead of 2 in the exhaust, and if u read ricky gs report on the 08 14 he just tested look at the af ratios she is running super rich uncork it and watch it kill the 08 buses numbers. just my 2ct.

I wonder if they would consider dual alien exhaust systems... I like the look of duals...
I doubt I will be getting an 08 or anyhing else for that matter.
The 07 rocks. If I want more I will either bolt it on or do a little engine work over the winter.
4 now I will stay as is.
Dam solid bike.

Cool, you are ignorant so I will educate you. The fastest stock in regards to top speed and only a pipe change is a ZX-14. The fastest stock bike with no pipe change is still a ZX-14. All the hayabusas you speak about have turbo chargers and 10k of motor work.. If one puts a turbo on a 14 and knows about aerodynamics there is a good chance it will be the fastest. Please think before you speak.

stock hayabusa has been clocked at 194 192 the 1999 model.so much for 10k of motor mods.whats the fastest a stock 14 been with out changing front sprocket.

I don't keep up on land speed racing so Flyboy would be the one to answer that ...
But what i do know is that oldkawiboy son Chad took a brand new 06 zx14 with 24 miles on the speedo to Maxton ....The only mod was a 18 tooth front sprocket ( factory is17 tooth ) This was done to fool the 186 limiter ... The 18 tooth proved to be to much gear but it did do the job of fooling the factory limiter ... Chad set a new Stock production record of 196.1..... No 99 to 07 Stock Busa has run that fast ......Chad and his dad both felt that the bike would have been faster with a bit less gear but nobody at that time made gears for the rear ...The front is the same as a zx12 and zrx1200 ....Oldkawiboy and Chad are old hands at land speed racing and are very well known...They know what it takes to go fast at Maxton and the Texas mile...If you don't believe any of this Just ask DaveO , if you know anything about Busas you know who DaveO is .. Flyboy has 4 records at the salt flats so he also knows what the records are and who holds them .. 99 to 07 Busas set up like his zx14 run alot slower and that is a fact ....XXX zx14 with a Mr turbo went 230.157 with only a 1/3 of the boost it can make and he did this the first time ever to run the Texas mile...This was his first time ever running a mile...The only thing keeping him from running faster was a back tire coming apart ...All this with a bike that has only been out a very short time ..The busa has been out from 99 and has had plenty of time to sort out problems with turbos and set speed records ....I bet a Busa turbo never went 230 on the first try like the zx14 did ... You give me me 8 years and i'll get a honda 100 to run fast.....

You are obviously a Cryabusa baby. If you had any brains you would know that the only Cryabusa that went 194 stock was clocked by Cycleworld on a police radar, which everyone with a brain, knows is not close to accurate, Not to mention Cycleworld is a piece of shit mag that goes where the money is.

When I say educate I don't mean to sound condescending. It is difficult for one to know all the facts dealing in motorcycles statistics or just plain life. I am just going by facts of speed records. Currently the 14 has the World and AMA record in stock and modified catagories. Recently one of the motorcycle magazines wrote about the MV Augusta F4 being the fastest stock bike in the world. I called the editor up on this, told him the facts about the 14 and invited him come to Bonneville and even ride my bike. I never heard back from him. well said. i only go from experience but i never had a busa go by my 14 on the big end, ever. can't wait to see the 08's.... in my rear view mirror getting smaller
