Some Pics of my ZX-14 show bike

Here are some pics of my ZX-14 show bike, these are the starting stages of it a work in progress. A few parts brake down Custom Sportbike Concepts 300mm single sided swingarm, PM contrast cut Gasser wheels with matching rotors, PM brakes, Brock's sidewinder, NX new EFI kit, Custom Fighter's rear sets, CSC Clutch cover, PMFR rear sprocket, I also reworked the kickstand and top clamp to make it different then what for sale. Will add more pics when more progress is made. Hopefully you guys will like the bike. I know it's not a dragbike or I can't put any fast numbers down with it but I own another bike for that. This is a show bike/ rider, if you have any questions about any of the products on the bike let me know I know were to get

OUCH....
can be a tough bunch around here sometimes....
Honestly though the guys here have all turned out to be pretty good bunch of guys...
Takes awhile for them to warm up sometimes is all...

Dood I can totally appreciate the blood, sweat, and money involved... LOL
May not be what everyone else wants, or would ride but its all about how you feel when its done.
I think it looks pretty cool. And as you stated it is a show bike... practicality has nothing to do with it!

Make sure you post more pics when its done...
I have an interest in most anything different and mechanically fascinating...

Do you have much road time with thoes PM/Renthal grips? I was thinking about getting a set at one time. Are they comfortable? Are they worth the money?

I would like to see a picture of the left side of the bike. That single sided swing arm looks big. Is it heavy??
Any motor work done? I am not a fan of the 300 tires... but I think it looks mean the way you did it. I think that you did a good job making it a one of a kind. Let us know how it rides for you. Thanks for sharing your vision.

I was thinking about the 240 or 300 conversion myself . But man after pricing the conversion I'm like damnnnnnn!!!! and the single sided swing for 8000.00 i would kill them at Mrytle Beach, ...

Plus I ride my bike alot during the season and i would hate to put a 5 or 7 grand conversion and not want to ride out all the time..

ZX14-1384, you asked for it ,and as usual the riders on this site are more than happy to give their 2cent.

Once again, bikers are as American as ever: all shapes, sizes, colors, tastes, and styles.

Enjoy the bike you spent your hard earned money on any way you like.

The PM grips are nice but you have to change the bars from 7/8 to 1", PM gave me the whole setup grips, switch housing, and master cylinders so I could use 1" bars.

The single side swingarm is about 50lbs more than stock, but this arm is also a 6" over. No motor work just a Brock's sidewinder, Brock's PCIII with his map, K&N air filter and the NX EFI kit.

I work and build this bikes all day every day so when I ride a 300MM tire it is not that bad to ride, but if you want your bike to still wheelie, drag a knee, drag race then kit a 4" 240. We have built a couple for people I seen 9.20's out of a 6" over 240 busa, Matt a trac lapped the field twice on his 4" over 240 2007 GSXR. A 240 is NASTY!!!!!!

Where did you get the CF George Formans and ram air covers? They look sweet.
One of the greatest things about building a bike is, you don't have to care if others like
it or not. Build it your way and enjoy it. I can appreciate the work that went in to it.

And why not?? Bike looks awesome. He said it was a show bike. I doubt he's going to take down the Maxton mile. The bike was made to ride, race, show or sit in a garage collecting dust. The great thing about owning it is you can do what ever you want to it and not really give a shit about dumbass opinions. Now lets see your bike so I can see what your supposed to do to the fastest production bike in the world which is still the 99 or 00 Hayabusa by the way.

For what your doing with it, the bike looks awesome!!!!

If you paint the lower fairings and give that tire to Goodwill... I think you'll have a pretty good looking bike. You might want to put in blue colored lenses as I think the white stands out. LIke the creativity....
