Brocks 08 Busa goes 201 at Maxton
Just heard from Brock ...08 Busa with Chad Milholand riding 201.00 MPH on his 08 busa ..This is the same Busa Richard Gadson rode at Atco ....Chad was the same guy that drove Brocks 06 zx14 to 200 MPH.... Way to go Brock and Chad !!!!!!!!

Yes it is good speed ... We will have to wait and see what the details are ... wind ,temp. track, Ect ..I got from his last post that the Busa was going to be set up like his 06 zx14 , piped P/C tuned and fuel...

Brock posted this dyno number and mods before going to Maxton .....200 h.p. 115 ft. lbs. with his new alien system, no filter, pc and mr9 on the 08 busa. So it looks to be set up just like his 06 zx14 that chad ran 200 MPH ...

Well that is fast but for the same rider to go 200 MPH with Brock's '06 14 is just another gauge to show how close these bikes really are. I can't wait to see how well a Brock's tuned '08 ZX-14 does.

Hey Folks,
Chad could not ride Brocks 'Busa due to him riding Greg's Inferno ZX14 at Maxton. I believe Brock ended up having Lee Shierts ride the bike and eventually Brock too breaking 200. I think Lee went 203 and Brock may have went 202, but not sure so don't hold me to it.
I do know that on the bottle Chad ran 215+ on the red 14 and I think 207 on the motor. He said it is faaaaast.
Zack, my other son ran 199.3 on his piped and PC 14.........so close!
I'm hoping to hear how everyone else did.

Well if that's the case then i don't see that as a failure at all compared to his older ZX-14 hitting 200mph years ago. Brock was only hitting 196ish on his 14 and it was chad that put it at 200. If brock is busting the double ton with him riding and with a similar setup to his red 14 then that's impressive for the big busa.
But truly it's still a standoff between the busa and 14. They're so close in ability it's all about which styling you like the most or which fits you better or whatever.

Thanks for correction smokin. my bad.
In a post about inferno's success at maxton, greg mentioned the 2007 ZX-14 owned by Zach Millhound with only a power commander, MR9 and a full Muzzy Exhaust system ran 199.3 in the mile, no other tricks.

Great Job Zack! It took a 45shot of spray to get my big butt to just 200mph.
How were the conditions on Sunday? Any other 14s making big strides in performance?

As was pointed out, DEAD stock the early Busa is the fastest and probably always will be. Nobody leaves their bike totally stock however. Most install a pipe, PC etc. to uncork what the factory can't because of emissions. A good rider with mods can get in the 8's or run 200. Major accomplishments that only 6 figure cars can match (speed only). My bikes happen to hold ALL the Maxton Production records from 1000cc through 3000+. They are NOT stock. The Production rules only mandate the external appearance has to be stock ( stock exhaust, stock height etc.). Inside are race engines. The 1650 class(where the ZX-14 fits) is now 208.2 MPH. With stock exhaust. How do we do it? Like a NASCAR restrictor motor I use very high compression. So you can never compare the bikes unless they are competing in the same class. Give the 14 time it will compete evenly with the Busa as long as the displacement is even. FYI. I sold my Busa and bought a ZX-14 for the street. MUCH better bike. I think Brock will say the same thing. LSL
