See, now this is something you just don't see much of - a real world badass custom. I know a great percentage of the people who own 14's and post here do a lot of quarter mile with their bikes, and slamming them down is necessary for that.
Love the bike, just stupid hot. How does the +5 affect handling on twisty roads? I would never stretch if it hurt my annual run through the Kootenays.

Details on the undertail pan, URL, link price etc...it looks really sweet.
You have one nice ride my friend, and I have to say...proof that BLACK is the fastest color next to Kawasaki Green, but until KHI gets their head out their ass and makes a GREEN 14, balck will remain on the throne as the fastest color!!!

thanks for the props!
It is a real world street bike, that is what i intended it for.
A true do it all muscle bike.
The handling is surprisingly good, as long as the pavement is. I had 1/8" chicken strips, from my last trip to the Okanogan area, and the secondary roads around the lakes.
I could have given it more lean, but thats not my thing, and don't have faith in the public roads, or traffic, so 20% margin is my minimum for error, in an uncontrolled environment.
The tire grip feedback is not as good as stock as the wheel is way back there, when it does slide it is very predictable. Corner exit powerslides are way more predictable now than stock. The braced swingarm seems very stiff, in fact I feel less lateral chasis flex than with the stock arm!
I used to race motocross. Chasis and tire grip feedback sensory perception is pretty good thanks to all those years in the dirt.
My friend was riding an 06 gsxr 1000, and I have to say stock i would have left him behind, in the twisties as his riding skills need work. With the extended arm he was keeping up in the corners, or a little faster, but the torque of the 14 allowed me to surpass him in the straights.

Thanks again for all the compliments.
There are some loose ends that need attention, but our riding season will be over very soon, so I am putting as many miles on it as possible.

Its not secret I'm a fan of VORTEX products on my track bike, and seeing the rear sets and hard-coated rear sprocket on your ZX14 is awesome!

Thanks,
Different for sure, and cut quite a bit of weight off her too!
The R6 is a magnesium subframe, and all thats left of the stock subframe is the 2 main spars you see!
I don't think my regulator will run too hot with the "flying K 's" I cut into them either!

The tiger undertail is designed to give more room for the tire when lowering a bike, and will reduce the underseat storage bro... not what your looking for.

I figured the sheet metal would give me a base to work with and then add the depth I want.
I could probably do the same by cutting the stock tray and dropping a sheet metal box in.
