'08 14.....All it takes is a few taps on a keyboard somewhere in Japan....

What up bro? That's the beauty of the "flys" from the factory perspective. How hard is it for KHI to reflash the the chip in the black box to open the flies at whatever RPM they choose? Let's see, dial back the ignition retard in gears 1-4, a little head work and...just like that... low-end torque, mid range power.....top end zoom.....rock and roll...'08!

and that blue or black thing that looks as speckled-up as a wal-mart bowling ball isn't doing anything for me either, I'm sure it looks better "in person"

I agree,they will sell a bunch of them.Could we be looking at the 125 Gp replacement since the 2 strokes are going away.

The silver will be nice in person I bet.....................although it looks like they painted the Forman Grills silver also. I don't like that..........would have to get black one's like the 07 silver Canadian model...........

It sounds like the total actual horspower increase may be modest, but with the head changes and probablle ECU tweaks they have broadened the powerband so it feels stronger than the actual peak number of horsepower would lead you to believe.
The first side by side comparison to the '08 14 to the '08 Busa will indeed be interesting.
My money is on the '14 to show it's tailights to the 'Busa - Stock to Stock.

I sure hope so. Maybe it's just the camera flashes highlighting stuff but I hope it doesn't look like a bass boat up close.
