So does anyone know for sure if this paint scheme is the metallic spark black? So if it is, and this trim is the metallic persimmon red, then the bike may look pretty good by flip flopping the red bottom to the top and using the black on the bottom and frame. Would look a lot like the 06 red 14, but with a dark cherry body & wheels. If this is the case, I believe it would look good... As long as they leave the tail (top & Bottom) completely red. Splitting the colors with a two tone on the tail end of the 14 just isn't working for me.

Aint that the truth, that SE is crap.
On another note the Blue and the Silver are very nice.

Does anyone have pics of all four of the colors for the 08 14? I've seen all but one.

Face it the emissions and other restrictions are killing the stock performance. Just have to depend on the aftermarket to get what you want. Waiting on the factory to give you some time stopping performance is not going to happen, bad for business!

Im just hoping the "emissions and other restrictions" restrict the power output so significantly that the manufacturers have to significanlty "up" there HP to even keep them in the ballpark of where its at now. Lets face it, they all have more power than most people can handle. BUT for the guys that mod them, like most of you gearheads, the new power potential wilt never be greater will the subtraction of said emissions equipment! Can you say 30+ hp gained with exhaust, PC IV (its coming im sure ) and other quick mods? I cant wait!

Hey quick, I have only seen 3 colours mentioned. The silver, the midnight metallic blue, and the SE black and flames.

I'm still waiting on the ZX14R. Lighter, more ground clearance, TC, and an athletic look with slimmer tail. Kinda an updated ZX12R instead of a Busa'ed ZX12R.

Never happen though.

Just to get the Freakin Lime Green color!!!

Reckless, you're right... Talk at the Kawi shop a few weeks ago was possibly four colors to choose from. Bad info...again!

The 08 250 is sweeeeeeet, but the deal I got on the 07 was toooooo damn good to pass up

2007 EX250 Ninja 1286 mi, with Muzzy pipe and Dynojet carb kit installed at the dealer, with fender eliminator and 4 yr KHI good times warranty all for 2500 OTD!!! And they are locating and giving me the orig parts since the dealer did all the upgrades!!!

Couldnt justify the add'l $$$$$ for an 08 based on that deal

that ZX10 isn't sweet. I'm not a brand fan, but if Honda has done to the 1000RR what it has to the 600RR last year, it will outperform the ZX10. I dunno though, but one of these new litre bikes may find its way into my garage this year

waitin till the big 4 get their 1000's out. Right now I am tied between the Kawi and the Yamaha R1...want to see what zook's 08 GSXR has to thru on the fire.

Also, as I am certain you are aware, the bike you are most comfortable on is the one you will be fastest on. Some bikes just dont ergonomically fit some people. So its like weapons...its not the size of the bore, but how well you can shoot your opponent. Bikes are the same way, bike X might be the fastest etc from the tests, but if you dont fit on it right or doesnt feel right, it will not be your fastest.

Make sense???
